Certification

To provide assurance of the design, quality, and performance of our doorsets, Sentry have gained third party certification under accreditations schemes such as BM TRADA Q-Mark and Certifire, allowing us to manufacture under their Field of Application in a range of bespoke sizes to cater to your fire door needs.

This, together with continued investment in product development and testing, enables us to offer a wide range of certified fire doorsets tailored to clients’ exacting project requirements.

Sentry prides itself on continually demonstrating commitment to the highest standards of construction practice. Its extensive certification portfolio includes:

BM TRADA certification: Sentry is one of the few companies nationally to have achieved Q-Mark dual certification for its flat entrance doorsets.

Secured by Design and PAS 24 approved

UKCA: Sentry were the first fire door manufacturer to achieve accreditation to the new UKCA standards.

IFC Certification: The Knowles Range is IFC Certified, providing a valuable trust mark for customers.

The Golden Thread

As well as evidencing compliance through the accreditation Sentry hold, we also embrace the need to positively contribute to the Golden Thread – guidance which ensures that all records, from the point of manufacture through to maintenance inspections, are transparently available to those who want to view them, through a simple yet effective data tagging solution.

We remain continually committed to ethical practices and this sustainable approach guides everything we do from product design to selecting our supply chain. It is our goal to remain socially and environmentally responsible while manufacturing and completing projects that will make an impact on local and global scales.

Timber has the lowest embodied carbon footprint of any building material. Sentry Fire Safety Group also holds FSC accreditation and PEFC certification, meaning the materials we use are renewed. This is one element of an extensive Environmental Social Governance programme with commitments to providing secure, local employment in a safe environment and to charities that reflect our values.
